Cannot Load Models only for some users for newly published queries

Hi Team,

When we are creating new dashbaords and publishing in Power BI App, our users are not able to access it despite of sharing multiple times.

This problem is coming only fore new Dashboards which we can see are working, but user can not access:-

Hi @aditi_mishra ,

An internal ICM has been created.

ICM ID: 318939461

If there is any update I will post it here.

Best Regards,

Jay

To Help you investigate.

The old reports were in old Power BI Desktop version(2019), however our Power BI Desktop Version is updated now , and published to Power BI Web Service which also seems to be latest version -2022(automatically).

I created another version of the same report again, published it and now its accessible to users. However its a serious matter, as we have many complicated dashboards on previous version, and I am afraid that they can also go rough as soon as we touch them. Please let me know if we need to do any migration, if yes can you please guide me to correct documentation/steps, I can try that with still not working report and let you know if that solved my problem.

Best Regards

Aditi Mishra

Yes Ofcourse, shared report, shared data set, provided access from manage permissions. And these users can access other reports which were previously published.

This report I updated in my Power BI Desktop version and published , (so this report was also accessible to those users previously before I republished with my changes . Users can access the data set from database , so that is also checked. It looks like a compaitibility issue between the Power BI Desktop version I used to publish my dashbaord and the Web App Version. However can not find any lonk saying which version of power BI app is compatible with which version of Power BI Desktop
