Can you group columns to expand and colapse like in excel?

We have a simple list visual which contains these fields:

So the first field is the total and the others are the breakdown.

In excel you would group these fields and user could expand or collapse the group.

Can Power BI do something similar?

Not really talking about DAX but just shorten the columns that are shown in the visual or expand them and the visual gets wider again.

No sure why the answer was chosen by someone as a solution.

Does not seem to do what I asked. Althought the inforiver add-ins are very nice.

But cannot seem to find how it would group two or more measures together.

Apparently it only works with fields. (as in excel you would be able to collapse and expand any column. Also when they only contain formulas)

Hi @rpinxt ,

You can try to use group and bin in Power BI Desktop.

• To use grouping, select two or more elements on a visual by using Ctrl+Select. Then right-click one of the selected elements, scroll to Group, and choose Group from the context menu.
• Use binning to right-size the data that Power BI Desktop displays. You can set the bin size for numerical and time fields in Power BI Desktop. You can make bins for calculated columns but not for measures.

Hopefully people understand what I mean or should I give an excel example?
