Can we hide the first row record in the matrix visual? As it is showing duplicate records as below -

You won't be able to hide these because they are not "values" but categories.
If you want to prevent duplication, don't include the recurring category in the "values" column.
Leave it only in the ROWS and change the layout to tabular.

Yes, there is a few options to "hide" the subtotal (first marked row) .
As you aren't using measure, you can switch off subtotals :
Or if you need the subtotals for other columns which numeric, you can make the unneeded "white" :

It is working now but can we also hide below highlighted rows from first columns? reuirement is that these values should be there in the next column.
