Can we have the Matrix(Preview) values formatted?

Hi,

 

Can someone tell me if we can format the values of the Matrix Preview? I  can not find the option to manage Matrix values for  thousands/Million/Billions? Also, do we have the decimal Round off option ?

Hi there,

 

Format of values are values are not part of any visual, it is part of modelling, select you column and then click modelling tab and change the format as required:

Hi,

 

Thanks for the reply. Well, I am using Live connection for SSAS. At the cube level, we need these values to be shown( Decimal upto 2

eg:23,754.98).

But at the matrix level data, we dont need the small value shown. so, there is no way except modifying at the cube level?

 

Also, what if I am shoing 100,000,000 in the matrix? Dont we have have the option to change the value?

 

Request you to pelase let me know if I can post this as an Idea? I feel, this is very basic thing. Modifying cube level data evrytime over live connection takes 2 business days  for small issues like this.

yes with SSAS you cannot do this, here is another thread on this,
