I have a dataset that connects to an Azure server. It will refresh fine from my desktop but when I upload it to the workspace, select a gateway, it doesn't update. I will get a "Select permission denied...." error.
It was similar to this post: Won't Refresh from Azure
But the "answer" doesn't help me... His credentials didn't get shared to the workspace? I don't see where I can change credentials for my dataset once it gets uploaded. I edit them on my desktop and then upload.
Thanks for any insight!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please clear the permission of the data source and connect to it to check again.
Thank you for the reply. I tried that thsi morning and it errored out.
I didn't try it with my SQL Query Dataset but one with a direct import. That runs on my laptop (and used to run in the gateway) but in the cloud I get this error: Underlying error messageThe key didn't match any rows in the table.
I usually get that on my desktop when the credentials don't line up...
My leader took my SQL Dataset deleted all columns except one and it updated. Is there an issue with certain data types that could cause this?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please refer to this case.
