I'm trying to create a table to store my measures. All directions online (including from past help posts on this forum) say to create a new blank table via the "Enter Data" button, then add a measure to said table, then delete the blank column. However, I do not have an option to delete the column. I'm using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Any ideas?
Edit: the same process in a new pbix works 🤷🏻♀️

Hi @ishazel
I have understood your problem:
You want to create a new table to store Measure, but you can't delete your blank columns.
Here's how to do it:
First, create a new table with Enter data:
Then click Load directly.
Select the table and create a measure:
Then right-click the column to delete it.
Here is the result:
Here is my version number:
>>> It is worth mentioning that if you use the New table button to create a new table, you cannot delete empty columns.
Comparing the patterns of the two icons, I think your table should have been created with a DAX expression using the "New table" button, and you can click on the table name to view it.

Hi, thank you. There is no option to delete the column.
This table was created from the "Enter Data" button.
sry , never encountered this issue before. I also created table from enter data
maybe you can try to go to the PQ, and try to remove
or you can go to date model and try to delete

Sadly none of those places let me delete the column either. I can add more columns, measures, etc to the table and I can delete those, just not the original column 😕 appreciate the input.
