Can't connect to local SQL instance

I have a local SQL Server Instance.

I can connect to the instance via Management Studio with Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication.

I successfully connected to the instance via PowerBi yesterday morning via Windows Authentication. I can't connect with either the Windows or SQL Authentication today.

There has been no changes to the authentication configurations for the instance in the interim.

The only error that PowerBi reports is: We could not authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again.

I tried changing the credentials in Data Source Settings.

Suggestions to what I could try next?

@rijnhardtk

It sounds weird. Have you tried connecting in SSMS when the credentials don't work in Power BI? You can try to clear all credentials in Power BI and have a re-try.

@Eric_Zhang

I have indeed. I even created a new SQL Authentication user, and tried that. I also removed all authentication configurations from PowerBi.

I also tried reinstalling PowerBi.

My next step would be reinstalling SQL
