Hello I cannot change data source on Power BI. The thing is that when I open the windows "Data Source Settings", the button "change source" is not usable.
The data I have updated are Excel files.
However, if I go on the advance editor and I modify the path of the data source by hand, the source can be changed. The problem is that I need the people to modify the source via the "file" menu and not by coding.
What's happen? Are there some options in Power BI that block the data source settings?
It could be something in the Excel file?
thank you

Hi @nicolocgn ,
By my test in the latest version 2.73.5586.1101 of Power BI Desktop, the "Change Source" option works well. You may upgrade the Power BI Desktop to the latest version, and try it again.
Best Regards,
Amy

Hello,
I'm having exactly the same issue, but only with one file and its copy, and not woth another PBI file.
Since this morning, the change source button is disabled - no idea why.
I'm using Version: 2.79.5768.1082 64-bit (March 2020).
Can you please help ?
Many thanks.
Cheers,
Ray.
