I have a csv file with the following format.
(Look at the formula bar to see datetime column, it doesn't show properly in the cell for some reason)
There's around 1 million rows for this file and I have uploaded it to Power BI and got the following graph.
As you can see, I have a scroll bar to go through my x-axis but I want it to display in just one continuous graph like in Excel. I've tried changing it to continuous under x axis but it automatically reverts to categorical. Anyone know how to change this?
Also, why is there a Sum for my Value column? I'm not sure what it's doing exactly. All I want is to plot the point for each datetime.
Thanks for the help.
Hi, @Anonymous
It looks like a million rows of data are aggregated. You could select the date on the slicer, or choose a more appropriate granularity for the X axis.

I was doing it on online PowerBI before. I changed to desktop and it says DateTime for the data type and lets me change now. However, I am having a few issues.
I want the days to be displayed as Mon 13th, Tuesday 14th...Mon 20th, Tue 21st etc. Is there a way to configure this? And why is the value column giving such high values? It should only go up to 5000 from my data but the values here are much larger. Power BI has selected sum as the aggregate and i'm not sure if this causing it but not sure how to disable it.
