I'm completely new to Power BI and grateful for any help!!
I have tried to add a new calculated column to several different tables. After successfully doing so twice, I started encountering this error when I switched to a new table and clicked on "New column":
The name 'Column' is already used for a column on table '<table name>'. Choose a different name.
After closing out of that message, I then got this message:
Unexpected Error. The changes you were making failed to apply.
I would happily rename the column if I could, but the column never appears to allow this to happen. I never see a column named 'Column'.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Use the search bar and search Column see if it appears? 😊 I'm gonna assume maybe you started to write DAX in a new calculated column and then maybe clicked out and forgot about it.
Many Thanks,
Taylor
Thanks for all the suggestions and solutions, @ribisht17 , @TaylorPBI21 , and @Greg_Deckler . It was, in fact, my fault for overzealously clicking the "New Column" button on an ancient laptop that wasn't up to handling Power BI.
"The name 'Column' is already used for a column on table '<table name>'. Choose a different name."
Have you created this column in a different table, just check that....
