Can't Edit Matrix Row Subtotal %

Hello community!

I've been combing through this forum for answers, but due to my lack of experience with Business Intelligence/Analytics and Power BI Desktop, or just being dumb, I cannot make any of the solutions work for me. That being said, I've learned so much thanks to the help of this forum, so thanks!

Anyways. Here is my matrix:

Screenshot 2024-04-09 081458.png

As you can see, we have 2 columns per catetgory, Sum, and the %. Not pictured in the screenshot is the [Total] Column, which is just the sum of all the row values.

My issue is that the formula I'm using for the rows is being applied to the Row Subtotal (circled) and I cannot figure out how to either edit those cells individually, OR create my own subtotal row with totals and the correct %.

It's so frustrating because I feel like this should be easy as I already had created this report in Power BI Report Builder, and I'm sure I've already read the solution on here, but I haven't been able to make anything work. 😑

Thank you in advance! 🤗

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:

If none of this helps, would need to understand what your total column is in this instance in the subtotal row. I assume it is about between 29 and 30? Is that total correct? What is your desired number if not 405%?
