Bug in visual after update

Hi, since the last update of power bi there are some kind of weird bugs. First the "Copy Table" bug which was fixed but now I have a new problema with table visual wich takes columns from a table but it changes mi data.

This is my Table Visual data:

This is my data Table:

The firts two are diffrent from my data and I don't know why. I'm not doing any calculation over the column, I just only drag it to the visual. I built in a clean new power bi desktop file only the table I using and the problem is the same.

Hi, @ArquimedesP

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback.

Your solution is great @Ashish_Mathur . After my testing, it does show the wrong numeric value in the visual, as shown in the following image:

vjianpengmsft_0-1712638930894.png

vjianpengmsft_1-1712638954134.png

The reason for this discrepancy is that the data is outside the safe numeric size of the Power BI visual:

Data types in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

The largest number Power BI visuals can safely express is 9,007,199,254,740,991 (2^53-1)

9007199254740991 - 9816587000100023 = -809387746359032

You can change this column to text type to get the correct display or change the format to the scientific type as shown in the image below:

vjianpengmsft_3-1712639552207.png

vjianpengmsft_4-1712639595695.png

I'm testing in scientific format to see if it's equal to the original value:

The February 2024 and March 2024 versions were used for the above tests.

Hi,

In the Query Editor, change the data type of that column to text.  Does the problem get resolved now?
