Can a list selection have subselections?

Hello,

For the slicer visualization option (the list selection where you can select items from a list by ticking the checkbox), can ech list item be expanded out into a sublist?  Right now, its only allowing me to select data from a column, both doesn't allow me to add additional levels of the hierarchial data.
