Hello everyone,
I have a slicer/dropdown list question. As you know, an usual dropdown list in Power BI looks roughly like this:
However, I really hope to create a dropdown list that has subcategories like current and past programs, and within those subcategories, there are different program names and multiple selection are allowed across subcategories. Mockup attached below:
Is this doable? I don't know if this is wishful thinking but would greatly apprecaite any tips or ideas if there is a way to do so!

@emilyhch Yes, just create an additional column with your categories. Then you add both columns into the slicer in an ad-hoc hierarchy.
