I am doing a product warranty analysis from two data cubes. The first cube has warranty percentages (e.g., 0.25% return rate) and the second cube has warranty issues (e.g., broken hinge). I can connect either cube individually using Get Data/SQL Server Analysis Services, but I cannot connect to both simultatneously. One of the cubes is too large to import and merge the data. Is it possible in PowerBI to connect to two data cubes simultaenously?

Hi @pstaggers ,
Based on my research, I am afraid you could not achieve this feature currently, now the power bi with live connection mode could just get form one AS model.

There is no solution to this. The tool just is not capable on multiple SSAS databases.

Hello - is anyone able to advise whether there are any plans to develop this feature?
I too would be very interested in being able to connect a Power BI report to multiple SSAS. I have read through various threads here and on other websites about possible solutions (using Import rather than Live connect, combining all information in one cube source, etc.) but haven't come across a solution that would be suitable in our circumstances.
If there are no plans at all to develop this then I will look at alternative solutions, but was hoping this may be available at some point.
Thanks
