Hi everyone,
I have two tables and i am trying very hard to figure out how to plot this on a column / line graph over time.
I need to show the demand of hours on projects against the resources calendar of how many hours a day they can work.
I have the information in 2 separate tables, but i am struggling to show "blank days". Like if a resource has no work on for a particular day i need to see the chart show zero hours . If need a column chart to show say zero for 01/02/202 as his capacity is 8 but he has no project work
What is best way to do this ?
Table 1 has all my resource detail (target utilisation, hours per day required to work which is capacity)
Table 1: Resource Information
| Resource Name | Capacity | Work Hour Date | Role | Target Utilisation |
| Jim | 8 | 01/02/2020 | Developer | 100 |
| Jim | 6 | 02/02/2020 | Developer | 100 |
Table 2 : Resource Project Assignments
| Resource Name | Project Name | Date | Hours | |
| Jim | BYOD | 12/02/2020 | 7 | |
| Melanie | BYOD | 10/03/2020 | 4.5 | |
| James | Website | 14/05/2020 | 4.5 | |
| Michael | Intranet | 19/05/2020 | 4 |
Hi, @leifdiao
Do you mean to show all the dates in the X-axis even if it has no data?
if it is what I think, here are some references that might be helpful:
