Hello,
I have two calendar tables. One is generated through CALENDARAUTO() function and another table "Monthly Budget" that contains monthly budget amounts. The Monthly Budget table does not contain duplicate dates. The dates are usually the 1st day of every month (e.g. 1/1/24, 2/1/24, 3/1/24.... and so on).
I also have other tables with duplicates on dates but that's not a problem. The problem occurs when I connect my CALENDARAUTO() table to my Monthly Budget table (1:1 relationship) because PowerBI is returning a "circular dependency" error.
What am I missing?

I dont' even use CALENDARAUTO. I find it unpredictable and oftentimes doesn't give me the list of dates that I want. Try the sample dax calendar in the attached pbix. You can just delete the unneeded columns.
