Hi everybody,
I am new here.
I have the following scenario.
My data comes from an OData feed.
There are 4 tables:
1. Item Entries (include all sold products)
2. Resource Entries (include all sold services)
3. User
4. DateTable
The releationship is as follows:
User -> Item Entries (1:*)
User -> Resource Entries (1:*)
DateTable -> Item Entreis (1:*)
DateTable -> Resource Entries (1:*)
Now I have created some calculated columns in the user table for example:
Total Sales Amount (product) = CALCULATE(SUM(Item Entries[Sales Amount]))
Total Sales Amount (service) = CALCUKATE(SUM(Resource Entreis[Sales Anount]))
Total Sales Amount = User[Total Sales Amount (product)] + User[Total Sales Amount (service)]
This is super simple and works fine, but how to set the date filter wich comes from the datetable.
Thx in advance
Thomas

You shouldn't be using calc columns. Take a read of my blog post on is topic. http://exceleratorbi.com.au/calculated-columns-vs-measures-dax/
write them as measures and they will update with slicers.
