Calculate time intelligence measures based on user selection from two different types of dates

Hello Community Members,

I am looking for some advise on the following  requirement.

I am trying to calculate time intelligence measures YTD/QTD/MTD based on user selection from two different types of dates.

I have one fact table with different types of dates [Customer Order Date] , [System Booked Date] and sales amounts etc.

I also have standard date table which is now connected with [Customer Order Date] and able to calculate YTD, MTD, QTD etc with no issues

however I need to provide either drop down or two buttons for [Customer Order Date] and [System Booked Date] on the report. Once user selects any one of them then the it should calculate YTD/QTD/MTD with that particular selected date by user and display under the same visual .

Please advise .

Hi @PandaPacifica , The field parameter feauture of PBI can solve your problem. Please follow the below link;

There is a tricky condition here. If you model your date table by "Customer Order Date", you have to use "Userrelationship" function to provide "System Booked Date" calculation. I think so , you used your master date table in all your pages to filter time. If you use "passive relationship" and "userrelationship" , system will be worked. Please follow the below link;

If you cannot reach your goal by the above mentioned solution, please give me detail your bottleneck step by step, I try to help solving the problem.
