Calculate the average value of orders containing products from the selected table

Hello!

I have two tables:
- orders,
- promotion - consists of promotion id, product id, start date, end date

I would like to calculate the average value of baskets that contained products from promotions.

I was trying to write the following measure and add its to column promotion id but it doesn't work:(

test avg =
VAR products=DISTINCT('PROMOTOION'[ProductId])

VAR keys=
SUMMARIZE (

FILTER(
            Orders,
            Orders[ProductId] IN
            products
            ),
Orders[OrderKey]
)

RETURN
CALCULATE([Orders_Avg_Net_Value], filter(Orders, Orders[OrderKey] IN keys))

Hi @Faustyna ,

Please try this:

test avg =
VAR products =
    VALUES ( 'PROMOTION'[ProductId] )
VAR keys =
    SUMMARIZE (
        FILTER ( 'Orders', 'Orders'[ProductId] IN products ),
        'Orders'[OrderKey]
    )
RETURN
    CALCULATE ( [Orders_Avg_Net_Value], 'Orders'[OrderKey] IN keys )

 If that doesn't work, consider releasing some non-private data as well as the expected outputs.
