Hey everyone,
I'm wondering if we could calculate the monthly total of these columns based on the first week of each month.
Here's a table to show what I mean. I want to show the month over month totals but only for the first week. For example:
August: 1 + 2 + 10 + 25 + 62 + 324 = Total for that month
September: 1 + 1 + 22 + 54 + 285 = Total for that month
October: 2 + 0 + 8 + 22 + 41 + 382 = Total for that month
I'm not sure how to make it filter only the first week of each month.
Here's what the PBI columns look like and as you can see March 09 is incorrect and should display March 1 or August 19,16,23 are all incorrect and should display August 2nd. Keep in mind this isn't the 1st day of the month more like the earliest entry of that month
Hi @samsa18,
I'm assuming you already have a measure that calculates totals. Use this filter on it:
Specific Day of Week Total = CALCULATE([Total],FILTER('Table',WEEKDAY('Table'[Report Date],2)=1))
