I need data for total clients signed up for a service:
Referred clients + self-referrals = total clients signed up
I only have the data for:
Total reffered clients
Overall Total clients signed up
These are both calculated measures from different tables.
I need the total clients self-referred- which we assume to be =(Total clients signed up subtract referred clients)
I can use a basic DAX measure but this provides errors for when the overall clients signed up is less than referred clients - which can happen if referrals are declined.
Question: Basically if the total self-reffered equates to a negative number, I need it to populate as zero as this means no clients were self-referred.
Eg. for one month, I have:
24 referred clients
of this, 20 referrals were accepted
20 overall clients signed up
which means self-referrals were assumed to be zero - but it is populating as -4.
Hi @nmckeown1
Generally, you can create a measure with the conditional logic like :
If ([your measure]<0 ,0 , [your measure]).
For more detailed suggestions please share a pbix or some dummy data that keeps the raw data structure with expected results. It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.
