Calculate YTD measure whilst filtering by Date

Hi experts.

I'm fairly new to Power BI, and i've been having a lot of problems while trying to calculate YTD information.

My problem is that i have a measure called Eff % which is the product of dividing Produced Lbs/Planned Lbs.

It gives me a percentage, which i need to calculate since the beginning of the year until the selected week and month, which i have as filters.

The dates are linked to a Master File, which i only have divided per year, month and week (ex: Year 2020, Month 2, Week 3).

I do have a column that counts the week of the year, up to the 52 weeks of the year, but i don't know if i can use this to filter the YTD data.

The DAX i'm using to calculate the MTD measure is: Eff % MTD = CALCULATE([Eff %]), 'Master Dates' [Month],'Master Dates' [Week].

Can someone help me see how can i calculate the YTD measure so i can put it next to the MTD in the table?

Use time intelligence for this with calendar. Totalytd, totalmtd and datesytd and datesmtd

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
