Calculate SUM for a value in Table 1 based off a column from another table(table2)

Hello,

i need help calculating the SUM of my Table 1 based on a columns from my table 2.

i tried

SCIU = CALCULATE(MAX(SCI[untaxed]),
FILTER(lmdgl,lmdgl[group] = "1-Unitary"))

but this doesnt work becasue i need to run this 7 times for the 7 different categories i have.
With Filter it links/ties each together.

I also tried
SCIA = IF(RELATEDTABLE(lmdgl[group],lmdgl[group]="2-Applied]"),SUM(SCI[untaxed]),0)

Any suggestions?
