Calculate Day to Day Different Items

I am looking for some help determining how I can get a count of different items picked in a warehouse day to day, month to month, etc. I have data that gives me date, product, and quantity picked. I would like to be able to show day to day and month to month, how many of the products in a given day or month are different than the previous day or month. I already have a measure giving me total products per day.
