Cached Credentials lifecycle - Power BI Desktop

Hi to all!

Is there any chance to know how long the cached credentials in Power BI desktop keep actual? And what kind of events can erase cached credentials (update Power BI desktop, etc)?

Where is the cache store in  Online PowerBI service .
Is the same user.zip  file   used in Online PowerBI ?

Hi @dmitriisolovev,

The credentials are stored in a file "User.zip" on C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\. Reference: Query-Editor-requires-credentials. So I think the credentials will always be there unless the file is deleted. According to my test, reinstalling Desktop won't erase the credentials.
