.CUB File

Hello,

Is it possible to connect .CUB file to Power BI as a source?

I don't have an access to server, all i have is cub files.

@emiliadgw , power bi can connect to cube or SQL server analysis service. I am not sure if it can connect with .cub file

Hi @emiliadgw ,

 

We cannot use a offline cube (.cub file) as the data source in Power BI desktop. In your scenario, you can connect to your SQL Server Analysis Services database directly. To connect to an SSAS MD database, select Get Data > Database > SQL Server Analysis Services Database
