There are 4 CSV files….when I loaded into Power BI,3 files loaded perfectly but one file loaded with some missing records. I check some blogs/forums in the Power BI community that we should go for Excel rather than CSV. Excel has data limitation so I have to go for only CSV. Now I asked to do some data cleaning so the CSV file works perfectly. Can someone suggest to me shall I do cleaning within CSV or Power BI? Is there any option to disable autorefresh in Power BI?
Hi, @Priti_Kaur
I wonder what transformations are applied in the Power Query. Have you applied filtering rows or columns in the query?
Could you please share us with some screenshots for better understanding? Do mask sensitive data before uploading. Thanks.

Mostly calculated fields are wiped out when refresh the data from csv.
Hi @Priti_Kaur
OK not sure what else to advise. If the results have changed then I'd be checking that the data hasn't changed.

Data is from the local machine so can't be changed.
Data is the same in all files...............initially that particular files loaded successfully and created dashboards. The next day when I opened the Pbx file, some visualizations were missing, the error was fields missing. When I did some research, the reason was csv.
Hi @Priti_Kaur
Do your data clean-up/transformations in Power BI.
If one of the CSV's is 'missing data' then that indicates that the data in that CSV isn't in the same format as the other 3 CSV's. Double check it to make sure.
In Power Query you can right click the query and then turn off 'Include in report refresh'.
