CSV access from Azure Blob/File Storage

I have a dashboard built that runs from a local CSV.

In order to release the dashboard, I want to move the source of the data to our Azure cloud hosting.  As it's client information, this needs to be secure and not accessible through anonymous access.

My attempts so far have lead to nothing:

Using Blob storage returns blob information, rather than data from the CSV.

Using File Storage doesn't seem to have a connector in Power BI

Can someone help me use the right storage and help me replace my local CSV with one hosted in Auzre?

Thanks

@Anonymous
The Azure blob storage can meet all your requirement in my test.
Regarding the returned blob information, you can click edit query and then extend the content.

And based on my test, after publishing it to Power BI service, dataset refresh works well.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, this worked fine.

However, I have run to a new problem with the refresh: if the csv files in the Azure blob storage change (number of files and/or their names), PBI desktop is unable to refresh the data.

Can you please advise what to do? The whole point of using blob storage is to be able to change the csv files inside it at will (as long as their data model stays stable).

Thanks for your help!

@Anonymous Instead of storing csv in Azure, you can provision SQL Server on Azure and then bulk insert your csv into SQL tables. This will also make easy for you to access it in power bi.
