I have a powerbi instance in Azure that I have dialed up to massive RAM and CPUs, and some large CSVs but not outrageously large: to wit, 1 CSV with 15m rows ~2.6gig in size and 1 CSV with 7m rows ~1.6gig.
Here's the strange thing, and this happens to me every now and then across different projects and files. I'll be working on versions of a model, and the seeming suddenly CSV import slows to a crawl despite disk size, CPU, and RAM all looking good.....and does so at the very first lines of the source = code.
And the model wont get any better unless I start 100% afresh, and then the problem goes away even with the exact same data load.
Any general advice?

Thanks, @amitchandak. I should have mentioned I already had @ImkeF 's suggested settings.
I'll try logging the issue.
