Hi all , 

Is it possible to create a button like an add or subtract button for example a button that would add or subtract days off a date ?

I'm working with selectable dates and am struglling to create a user based selectable date range. 

is about this size so any ideas are welcome , was thinking arrows above and below the date changing by one day intervials would offer a simple dynamic data selection.

You can tackle this through different ways:

1) Use a date field as a slicer and set it up as Relative Date, that way a user can select dynamically date ranges. (or just set it up as a Between type filter)

2) Create a numeric parameter (a 1,2,3,... series) and in combination with a measure use it to add/subtract days to your date field
