Hi, @Anonymous
May I ask if this is the expected output you are looking for? Based on your description, I have created two buttons to achieve the effect you are looking for. Following picture shows the effect of the display.
Steps:
1.Create two buttons and Bookmarks, set the Type of the two buttons to Bookmark.
2.Select Bookmark1, hide Button2, then update Bookmark1, select Button1, set Bookmark to Bookmark1 in the Action under Format form.
3.Select Bookmark2, hide Button1, then update Bookmark2, select Button2, set Bookmark in Action under Format form to Bookmark2.
4.Set the appropriate style in the Style of the Format form, respectively.

Are you saying that when someone clicks on the original button then the other button should show up otherwise stays hidden? If you can share your sample file it will be easier to get this sorted.
