I recently updated to the June 2022 release, and I noticed that the OkViz custom visual will sporadically disappear from the pbix whilst I am working on it, and I have to go through the steps of downloading the visual again. When I do this, l get prompted with something along the lines of "do you want to install version with exact same version?" I click yes, and the custom visual is back in the file. Searching the forums resulted in a thread from 2016, so seems like it could be a new bug? Thanks!
The only thing that seems to work is saving, closing out and re-opening. Still a bug in July 2022.

Ok - it just happened again, I was copying and pasting another visual. The OkViz Bullet visual disappeared from my visuals section. When I went through the steps to add it back in, this is the message I receive:
I click "Updated", and the visual is back.
Hi there -
The issue you linked is something else, and from 2018. The problem I am running into is that the visual randomly dispappears from being available visual from the visualization pane here:
I am not sure what the triggering event is to cause this to happen, but going through the motions of going to the app store, downloading, and re-installing brings it back into desktop.
Hi, I have the same problem since early July'22, when you do Ctrl+Z (or undo action), all the custom visuals pane disappear. You need to import them again and change sheet, go back and appear again.
It's very frustrating - now I try to avoid "undoing" anything
