Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this. I have 2 visual tables. The first filters the second. So first image, I select Site (UAT) and it filters the Documents Library/List visual accordingly:
But then when I then select the Test Subsite (Power BI REport) under Site, it filters the Document Library /List, but it keeps the selected item (Reference Material). Reference Material is not associated with Test Subsite and should have been cleared from the second table?
Looks like a bug?
Cheers,
Troy
@TeeroyinOttawa No, it is not a bug.
The reason it still shows you the previous selection is because it doesn't reset the other filter, when you change the value on the first.
So imagine you have selected UAT in first, and Reference Material in the second.
Then you change the first to Test Subsite. The second one still is filtering visuals by the 'reference material'. If it wouldn't show up anymore, then the user might get very confused, why is he not seeing anything in the visuals, if, by looking at the filters, the only selection made is in the first one of 'Test Subsite'.
It keeps showing you the 'Reference Material' until you click out of it. All other values in the second filter will be the ones that are related to 'Test Subsite'.
Hope this helps.
