Budget Table with Department filter

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could kindly help me as I am very new to working with BI.

I have a excel table ( please find attached image) When i upload thtis to powerBI and add it into a graph it only lets me filter by the weeks I also want to filter by each department, any idea how this would work with seperate tabs per department from the excel file? as the will all be on the same graph. So the two department I want to filter by along with the weeks is "Admissions" & Back of house.

Many thanks 🙂

  • Hello Jacks060650, firstly create department column in each sheet and add department name in that column in each sheet.
Then import all data into Power BI and append them one below the other then you will get chance to filter on week and department as well.

If my comment works, feel free to accept it as solution for others use. Thanks
