Bridge table not working

To avoid the N:M relationship i used a bridgetable as below figure shows.

Hoewever when i can only select from left or right 2 tables. But if i want to show fields from both outer tables i get "Cant determine the relationships between fields" It doesnt matter what i do with bidirectional filtering. I cannot

When i use the many to many i can select from both tables

Can anyone explain why this is happening ?

I dont want a key field in my visual. Next to that. I think that Bridge Tables should be hidden tables. They are there so i can avoid N:M relationships.

 

Since it is not working for me i switches to N:M relationships.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

Based on my test, please do not drag the related Key field to visuals:

If you want, you need to use the Key field from the Bridge table , as shown below:

try using single directional and one to many

As i said. Changing directions doesnt work.

Single Directional and one to many is what the picture shows.
