I created bookmarks on two pages to show and hide slicers. I have sourced data from three tables and appended the tables to form a cummulative table. On one page visuals are from one table and on second pages visuals are from cummulative table. I created bookmarks to show and hide slicers on first page. As soon as I create bookmarks on second page to show and hide slicers, the bookmarks on first page stop working. I want bookmarks and slicers separate for individual pages only.
Why is this issue happening?

Try watching these 2 training videos ..
How to sync and unsync slicers
How to create and update bookmarks
It is vital that you understand the bookmark data and display controls.
And that after you make any changes to a page you must click Update.
If you dont click Update then the bookmark will not be updated.
So when the user clicks the bookmark, it will revert to the previous settings.
This cause power BI novices lots of head scratching, but of you watch the videos a few times you will understand.
A bookmark does what it says on the tin, It sets a book mark.
If you make page slicers a nd button changes, the bookmark will remember the old settings unless you click Update !

Thank you for the reply. I do hit update, but I must be making some mistake. Thank you for the links as well.
Hi VVJ
Thanks for accepting the solution.
It is a very common problem because it is really easy to forget to click update with the correct bookmark data and display controls.
Lots of developers make that mistake when using sync slicers, buttons and bookmark.
Just try force yousrelf to remember to click update and test everything each time you make any changes to the pages.
It is all about attention to detail skills 😀😀😀
I could solve the issue. Earlier I used to update bokmarks once I made all the changes but now as you told, I updated after every change on the page, that solved my issue. Thank you very much!
I have the same problem: Using 1 bookmark to show/hide visuals on multiple pages. However your solution with using Update doesn't solve my problem. It doesn't seem to do anything more than creating the bookmarks (in the right order).
@AnonymousCan you explain your steps more detailed? It seems to me that the bookmark forgets it's settings on the other pages while using Update on one page.
Well done !
Glad the suggestion worked ok.
