I'd like to create a toggle Button to recreate the on/off of the "Select all" option on a Slicer. I have tried using bookmarks to achieve this, but they do not seem to save or affect the state of the "Select all." I cant use the "Clear all slicers" Action for the turn off, because that would clear other filters and slicers.

Hi Starrburst,
We appreciate your inquiry submitted through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Based on my understanding, Bookmarks in Power BI do not capture or retain the state of the Select All toggle button, even when the Data option is enabled within the bookmark settings. While bookmarks are capable of capturing selection states, deselecting all values to simulate the Select All being OFF does not actually toggle the Select All button off; it merely alters the selected filters. The Select All user interface state remains unchanged.
As a workaround, we have implemented bookmark based selection states as follows: Select All ON corresponds to no slicer filters applied (i.e., the slicer is cleared), and Select All OFF corresponds to a few categories explicitly selected. By toggling between these states through buttons and bookmarks, we have successfully simulated the intended toggle functionality without impacting other slicers.
Please find attached screenshots and a sample .pbix file for reference:

That does work to turn the "Select all" to on, but having a bookmark with the "Select all" in the off state does not switch "Select all" to off.
Forgot to mention I am on 2.139.1678.0 64-bit (January 2025)
In Power BI by default, Select All will produce the same result as selecting nothing. Here is a workaround using the DAX function ISFILTERED.
