Blank visuals when filtering by month via slicer

I am trying to filter by visual by month (Used this resource) and its almost worked, but nothing I choose displays on the visual, only when I choose 'blank' in the slicer. Images are supplied (table, relationships, slicer, etc)

Month_Year and Month Classification are calculated columns
createdTime and TheDate are both Date types, red table is the main visual table being filtered

Any help would be greatly appreciated

with these screenshots it's not possible to tell where the error is.

Maybe create a sample file? Otherwise how do you expect us to help?
