I connected to BigQuery to load my data into PBI desktop. I was loading multiple tables when this error appeared and even at preview for individual tables, the error already pops up so loading tables one at a time is I think not gonna fix it. I tried purging all connections in the data source setting but it still did not fix the issue.
Hi @carl_oo
Please check the firewall and Google Cloud parameter settings
In Power BI Desktop, navigate to the "Data" tab and click on "Data source settings." Clear & Update credentials in Power BI
If possible, try connecting to a different Google BigQuery dataset or use sample data to test the connection in Power BI.
Ensure that the BigQuery dataset you are trying to access is available and accessible.

I tried this solution before I asked the question here. It is not the solution in my case. Apparently, I just needed to not go to advanced setting and input the project ID when connecting to BigQuery data. Thank you for offering a solution though.
