Hi Community,
Bidirectional Cross Filtering is not working for Directquery for Semantic Model having multiple tables after July Update of Power Bi Desktop.
Earlier, it used to work for all tables but after the July update we are not able to apply bidirectional joins.
Please let me know if anybody else facing the same.
Hi @Ankit_Tiwari ,
@amitchandak Thanks for your reply!
And @Ankit_Tiwari , I need more information to reproduce your question.
I have tried myself DirectQuery connecting to SQL Server, Live Connection connecting to Analysis Service and then switching to DirectQuery, DirectQuery connecting to both SQL Server and Analysis Service, but none of them can reproduce your problem. And I don't see any other users reporting the same issue.
May I ask what your data source is? As well as I need you to provide your existing relationship view.
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
Hi Dino,
Thanks for looking into this.
Issue:
1. We already have a master table (import table) in the Model.
2. We have added four tables from PBI semantic model (Directquery mode).
3. When we try to establish relation(many to many) b/w the master table (in point 1) to one of the table (in point 2), it works for one table but fails for other three tables.
@Ankit_Tiwari , if this was working before, log an issue - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
