Best way to Migrate Qlikview report to Power BI specially .QLD files & data modelling QV part

Hi All,

We are planning to migrate Qlikview reports to Power BI.Qlikview is 2 tier application where data comes from database to .QLD files than QLD data fetched in the report with some transformation if needed.Power BI is 1 tier information where we direclty pull data from backend.

I would like to know what is best approach to migrate such Qlikview reports ,whether to create all QLD files screepts as view in backend as each QLD scripts is complex. Also  suggest if any any other approach  would be good.

Our one Qlikview report is using 15 QLD files & transformation logic at report level is also complex. Please advise best option to migrate such reports to Power BI specially data modelling part to aviod any performance impact at Power BI level.

Thanks,

Shashank

Hi @Anonymous ,

Refer to the posts below, I'm afraid there is no such a tool to migrate report from QlikView to Power BI currently, you have to kind of rebuild everything in Power BI:

Migrate existing BI from Qlikview to Power BI

QlikView to Power BI
