What is the best way to create an income statement without using zebra and profitbase etc.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Sdhn420 I did a quick google search and found this. Never tried it but maybe it can help???
If you can provide some sample data would be happy to try 🙂
That really comes down to how your data is organized.
I would want to have a Chart of Accounts table that is linked to a transactions table. And txns table would be joined to the date table. The measures to do this would be fairly basic time intelligence calculations (TOTALMTD, TOTALQTD, TOTALYTD) for line items. A couple other basic measures for Gross Margin, Net Income, etc.
Displaying it...your only real option out of the box is a matrix without using the zebra or profitbase visualizations.
