I want to show(Pic 1) sub projects of each project in a single bar over time period like the below image. I tried Gantt chart which shows sub projects over time period, but when I collapse it shows a single project bar without any sub projects on it. So, I moved to Bar chart, I'm able to show (Pic 2)but not able to add dates into x axis. I have the below data. A1 subproject starts only after A2 end date and A3 starts only after A2 end date. Same with project B. Project on Y axis nd sub projects on x axis and not able to add period.
Thanks in advance.
Project | Sub Project | Start date | End date |
Project A | A1 | 1/1/2022 | 1/3/2022 |
Project A | A2 | 3/3/2022 | 1/4/2022 |
Project A | A3 | 2/4/2022 | 30/6/2022 |
Project B | B1 | 15/3/2022 | 5/8/2022 |
Project B | B2 | 10/8/2022 | 29/10/2022 |

Hi @Prabha45
I hadn't seen something like that...
Maybe the option of date duration can help...

or
this custom chart but it is for pay
this is it's tutorial:

Thank you very much. So, from what I understand Gantt chart can't show all sub projects on Project line when collapsed and Bar charts x axis can't be dates. Is there any way to create like the below image. I don't need individual lines sub projects, just projects having sub projects in it over a period.

Thank you very much @Ritaf1983 , Paid visual works which shows multiple items for a project in a single line. Hope you have a great day.
Hi @Prabha45
I didn't meet a gantts that work with hierarchies horizontally.
But there are a few links for tutorials that can work vertically ( like matrix/pivot tables)

Thanks @Ritaf1983 Gantt chart works partially. but when I collapse sub projects, Projects line shows a single colour( first sub project). I need to show all sub projects in Project line when collapsed. So, I choose Bar chart, but here when I drop date on x-axis it automatically treating as count.
I saw your post about an axis and responded, i am afraid that there is no option to have a Gantt exactly as your pattern.
