I am trying to compare monthly data for employee placements. The categories are intern, entry-level, manager and supervisor. I want to compare the counts of these categories month to month. I have grouped my months so I can include multiple in the same visual. When I have my employee categories as my X-axis in a clustered column chart and add multiple months it does the count for one month for that, but then all the other counts are consistent across the board. This is due to the fact that I am using one axis from one month and another axis for another month. How do I include a universal axis that will provide the counts for each employee category without having to drill down
@bw70316,
Could you please share sample data of your table and post expected result following the guide in this thread?
In your scenario, you may need to unpivot your columns, then drag month field to X-Axis, category field to Legend and value field to value of the clustered column chart.
Regards,
Lydia
