Hi All,
I'm trying to create a bar chart with category on Y axis and dates on X axis. When I drag and drop dates on X axis, it automatically converts into count. I check my date column looks good. Is this expected or am I missing something.
Thanks in advance

Hi @Prabha45
The X-axis in a bar chart functions as a value axis, inherently performing aggregation, much like a pivot table in Excel.
This is a reason that you can't use it with dates/texts and others without computing numeric aggregation.
if the axis is static and has a small number of "dots" you can use some workarounds like text boxes as in my solution in the linked discussion :
https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/How-to-make-a-graph-with-quot-Quality-quot-on-the-...
or to design the axis in PowerPoint import it combine it with the graph.
If it is dynamic then consider tables/matrixes visuals.
