I'm going through the BPAA rules and there's one that I don't quite understand. [Error Prevention] Datacolumns must have a source colum
Could someone explain it to me and tell me what the implications are?

Hi @rgsalido,
This rule is only needed for the ones coming from datasources for example. If you get data from a sql table this field identifies the original column in sql server that the specific column is coming from.
Calculated columns don't have that relation since they are calculated on top of your imported data so the field is not necessary.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @rgsalido ,
This specific rules exist only to columns from your datasource not for calculated columns has you see the details of the rule refer:
Data columns must have a source column. A data column without a source column will cause an error when processing the model.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsThis was just an example. I wanted to understand the rule well.
I understand what you are saying but calculated columns exist and they do not always refer to a column of the source.
