Hello!
I would like to import .parquet files from Azure Blob storage into PBI desktop. The container's public access level is private, so at first time there is a pop-up window for typing in the access key. Filled in, connected, everything looks bright.
However, when changing the access key on server side later on, or if I reset the connection and misconfigure it (e.g. choosing the anonymous access wrongly), the access key pop up does not show up anymore. It only reports:
I cant force it anymore to show me the access key type-in form.
I have created a bunch of new accounts/containers. At first is always okay, but brakes after something happens (as written above).
I also restarted PBI dekstop (and even my computer), but nothing changed. I also experimented with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 with the same result.
Besides, this process should only be my basic scenario. The main goal is to achieve rather an AAD based authentication over access key. I dont know if that is possible, since I could not test it out, as I am got stucked with this issue.
Here is the configuration of the storage account.
Thanks,

Hello @amitchandak!
Thanks for your tip. It solved! Do you know whether AAD based authentication works for accessing Blob files? Based on the PBI desktop logged in user. I would like to create a pbit template file with prepared connection configuration, but I would like to limit the access if some criteria is not met.
Thanks,
Peter
