Azure Maps Reference Layer show GeoJson file url source.
jasemilly I'm trying to achieve the same thing and not getting anything to work. I'm wondering if this was designed with assuming users were pulling in files from places like github that have the data in raw format similar to the link below:
It seems like in SharePoint that the default is to download the file rather than display the raw format which doesn't work with PowerBI. Would be nice to have the SharePoint piece work, because you know...it's a Microsoft product 😉
I was pretty estatic about this feature, but now I'm just MEH

I agree with what you are saying, I got it going with Github yeterday and created an awful lot of geojson files. Having to host them on Github created alot of extra work that I think is unnecessary, since you are staying within the MS world.
Perhaps the video could have done a walk through rather than just saying can be done.
I am still very pleased to have this feature, it's something I have been trying to do for a couple of years. I have a sql source for each shape and have had to combine them into a single file for each supplier and then use power automate to create the actual file. It has been interesting and pleasing to see work.
