I've gone on a bit of a bend with this one - I wasn't sure if anyone has had similar issues?
I have an Azure Map which has 47 distinct "clients", and the legend is sadly very squashed and includes a scroll bar.
Does anyone know how to enable a "wrapped" legend, or a workaround? We tried creating a table which contained hex values, but the colours then didn't match the map visuals.
This is a constantly growing dataset, and despite there being little "real" value in being able to see all 47 entries on the legend (i really do not believe anyone can tell the see all the distinct values), we have had feedback from several users on this.
Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Push back on the users and add a client filter that allows them to pick only a dozen or so. Also consider grouping your clients as "Top 10 and Others" or similar.
Or - hide the legend in the map visual and use a different visual to enumerate the clients and their color. Color assignments match between visuals unless you explicitly change that.
